(Keep it Native) support the continued research and collection of Nantucket farm history and will ultimately determine the publication of “Town Farms and Country Commons: Farming on Nantucket.” The K.I.N. Project also works to provide free-online access to an abbreviated version of “Town Farms and Country Commons: Farming on Nantucket.” Under cultivation now, islandkin.com will highlight the farming experience and conservation efforts unique to Nantucket. With roughly 50% of the island terrain protected through land conservation, Nantucket has not lost sight of her original rural vision. |
